10. Pumpkin Move
Sneak out and line up all the pumpkins on the street.
9. Giving Out Tasty and Clinking Nuts
When you are being asked for candy, get your bag of “goodies” and go back to the front door. Unknown to them, you loaded your bag with bolts, nuts, nails, screws, hooks, and other things metallic. As you are facing the trick-or-treat kiddies, shake your goody bag until they have a clue of what is inside. If still unaware, take some handful and show it to them before putting it in their bags.
8. Classic Hide and Shock
Dress in black so that you will not be seen in the dark so easily. Look for a perfect place, such as a large bush or any other place near your door that you will not be seen. Turn off the lights on your porch so that you can move undetected. Be sure to just wear socks so that your feet will not be too noisy. Stay down, move slowly and stand at the back of the trick-or-treaters. Control your breath, stand about a feet away from them and wait for them to turn about. When they do, put some flashlight on your face and match it with a scream.
7. Trick or Treat the Other Way
Instead of being given the pack of goodies to your bag, do a different deed. Prepare your bagful with treats and when a person will give you your stuff, hurriedly reach on your bag, and give them treats instead. They will give that weird look on their faces.
6. Caramel Onions
Caramel covered apples are great and rare treats to enjoy. However, since this is Halloween, you can spice up the prank and use onions instead. Make sure you prepare the melted sugar, an onion that perfectly fits in the apple mold, and a popsicle stick. Ho, ho, the kids will be happy now, and may even be excited to take a bite!
5. Living Scarecrow
Dress up as props in your yard. You could choose to be a Ghostface, or a fully-covered scarecrow and stay near the door, acting as if you are just a mannequin. Do not act when kids come near you. Instead, move when they are about to go away from your doorstep and shock them. For better results, you can even plank close to the door and rise up slowly.
4. The Classic Tissue Roll
Do this trick at a time when everyone else is sleeping. Prepare about a dozen or even two dozen rolls of tissue paper at your disposal. When no one is watching, just go to your target’s lawn, unloose one end of the tissue roll, hold it, and then throw the roll over a tree. Repeat the steps until you are satisfied with the mess left on the yard.
3. Early Christmas Carol
Instead of doing the usual trick-or-treating with all the scary costumes, why not put something different for a change. Try caroling with about two or three of your friends. Knock on the door of your target, don’t say trick or treat, and surprise them with a carol or two. To make things worse, sing terribly and put up a sign that says, “Will stop for treats”.
2. Epileptic Seizure
This prank can be done on both ends, whether you are a trick-or-treater or the person who gives goodies to the kids. Before starting, brush your teeth with unscented toothpaste, making the bubbles as thick as possible. Keep it in your mouth and don’t forget to clean any signs of toothpaste around your lip. Once ready, just act normal, and then when you get the attention of your target, stay still, roll your eyes upward, shake your head, and fall down. Let that bubbly stuff ooze out of your lip and watch people go panicky.
1. Scary Doll in the Car
This prank is simple. Plan to go out for a trip with just one person. One will be the driver, while another will be the prankster. Put a large pillow with a fake head and a long wig. You can also put reflector for eyes. When you are about to drive, open your phone and ask the driver to check the back seat. They will see the scary ghost figure through their back mirror.
